Victory Athletic Club
Regular training sessions from Havant Leisure Centre on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
New: 'Victory to 10k' running programme : starting Tuesday 6th October 2015
Victory to 10k is an 9 week programme run by Victory AC that is aimed at those who don't think they can run more than 5k.
It will take place on Tuesday evenings at the same time as the main Victory AC Club run and cover the same, but shorter routes.
The course will start on 6th October at 1830 from Havant Leisure Centre.
It is only for individuals who can run 5k but not 10k, allowing them to feel confident to undertake the Victory 5m on 6 December and then the club 10k run on the 10th December.
This will allow the group to go through the same journey together.
There is no cost, though all participants must be members of Victory AC for the duration
with membership forms ready for the first night (or download from here now
and bring it along with you on 6th October!).

What We Do
As a club we meet at Havant Leisure Centre. On a Tuesday at 6:30PM, for an informal 'let's go for a run' type session and on Thursday at 6PM for an organised training session, normally taken by a SEAA qualified coach.
We compete in a wide range of on and off road events.
Ranging from traditional road races such as the Stubbington 10K and the Great South Run to the wet and boggy delights of both the Hampshire Cross Country League and 'Today's Runner' Cross-Country League.
During the summer months we organise a number of 'handicap' races designed to give all members of the club regardless of ability the chance to compete in a competition that is designed to be as even as possible.
Who We Are
Victory Athletic Club (VAC) is a small, independent friendly running club.
Formed in 1982 we are an active club, offering members varied training sessions and internal competitions, as well as opportunities to run for the club in regional team events.
The Club is based in Havant, near Portsmouth on the south of England, we have a membership of nearly 250.
In additional to training and races we also have a number of social events throughout the year, which non-running family and friends come along to as well.
